Terms and conditions

The fine print for booking and visiting Tussock Ridge

These terms apply when you use tussockridge.nz or buy a Tussock Ridge gift voucher. Tussock Ridge is operated by Tourism Innovation Group (“we”, “us”, “our”). We’re opening in 2027, and we’ll add our full booking terms here before sessions go on sale.

Before we open

Tussock Ridge is still being built. Details shown on this website, such as facilities, session times and prices, may change before we open. We’ll keep this site up to date as things are confirmed.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are sold through our booking provider, FareHarbor. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Your voucher is emailed to you once payment is complete.

  • Your voucher is valid for three years from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on the voucher.
  • Once we open, you can use it to book a session, subject to availability.
  • Please look after your voucher like cash. We can’t replace it if it’s lost.

Refunds

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and can’t be exchanged for cash, except as set out below and where New Zealand law requires. This includes vouchers bought before we open.

If we don’t open as planned: if we haven’t opened by 31 July 2027, you can ask for a full refund of your voucher by emailing info@tussockridge.nz.

Booking a session with your voucher

  • If you cancel more than 24 hours before your session, the value goes back onto your voucher so you can rebook. This doesn’t extend the voucher’s expiry date.
  • If you need to change your booking more than 24 hours ahead, we’ll do our best to move you to a time that suits.
  • Within 24 hours of your session, we’ll still try to help, but we can’t guarantee another time. If we can’t find one, the value of your voucher is forfeited.
  • If you don’t turn up, or arrive too late for your session, the session value is forfeited.

Weather

If severe weather, such as lightning or very strong winds, means we can’t run your session, we’ll contact you to reschedule or credit the value back to your voucher.

Using our website

All words, photos and designs on this website belong to Tussock Ridge or are used with permission. Please don’t copy or reuse them without asking us first. Some links take you to other websites, such as FareHarbor or Instagram, and their own terms apply there.

How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Changes to these terms

We’ll update these terms when we open, and from time to time after that. The version on this page when you bought your voucher is the one that applies to it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
